First Indiana Jones and the Big Circle Update Brings Full Ray Tracing to PC

The first update for Indiana Jones and the Big Circle is here and available on PC and Xbox.

In addition to many fixes, this update notably adds full ray tracing (with path tracing) for Nvidia GPUs on PC. However, the Indy team has stated that you will need a minimum of 12GB of VRAM to get the most out of this feature.

Other PC-specific fixes include performance improvements at higher levels of play for those players using a graphics card with 8GB VRAM, and a fix for flickering torch or lighter flames when playing a game at a high refresh rate.

Overall, across platforms, photos Indy takes on the street should now appear faster when viewed in a magazine. In terms of UI, the adventure book list will now update immediately after opening a new book.

There are also quite a few mission fixes, but I won’t go into detail to avoid spoilers. If you want complete information about the first Indiana Jones and the Great Circle patch, you can check out the notes here.

We awarded Indiana Jones and the Big Circle five stars upon its release. “Indiana Jones really feels like he’s come full circle in this latest adventure (sorry). Finally an Indy game that combines both the puzzles and action we know so well from the movies, and does it with wit. , charm and a real eye for spectacle,” our Catherine wrote in her Eurogamer review of Indiana Jones and the Big Circle.
