Pokémon Go Sees Every Pokémon Community Day Returning for Year-End Catch-a-thon
- Niantic will be introducing a new Catch-a-thon event, bringing back former Community Day exclusive Pokemon.
- You’ll have another chance to get exclusive rewards!
- There is also a chance to get shiny versions of selected monsters.
It’s always a shame when you miss important community events, especially in Pokémon Go, where you can catch rare Pokémon with your friends. But if you missed it this year, you’re in luck because Niantic is going to be hosting an exclusive Catch-a-thon event later in the year!
The competition will take place on Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, featuring featured Pokémon and special rewards. Featured Pokemon, including shiny ones, for each day:
- December 21: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten and Bounsweet.
- December 22: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Taynamo and Popplio.
During the last ten minutes of every hour, you will also have the opportunity to encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. This is on top of 2x Pokemon Catch XP, 2x Stardust, and a host of other rewards in this limited-time event. Like no one has ever been
With major updates like the debut of Gigantamax and other key features, it’s been a big year for Pokémon Go. So it’s no surprise that Niantic is set to invite you back to its last major community event before the end of the year.
