Solutions to “The Fountain of Confession” in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
You will reach Fountain of Confession V Indiana Jones and the Big Circle as you progress through the Stolen Cat Mummy adventure. Once you get to the fountain, you’ll have to solve a puzzle to open the secret door, and then solve some more puzzles to get inside.
The first mystery is related to the three dragon statues near the Fountain of Confession. Once you solve this problem, you will have to solve the baptism-themed statue puzzle. Finally, there is an Ark of Reeds themed spinning ring puzzle.
Our Indiana Jones and the Big Circle The guide will show you how to solve the Fountain of Confession puzzle, the Baptism Statue puzzle, and the Ark of Reeds puzzle.
How to solve the fountain puzzle
After you solve the Sacred Wounds puzzle and explore the Tomb of the Giant Warrior, you will find a parchment that suggests there is a secret entrance to the Vatican Confession Fountain.

Once you get there, take a photo of the dragon statue in the center of the fountain, and then take a photo of the inscriptions on the left and right. Indy will translate them as “make the dragons look at each other.” Now all you have to do is find the dragons.

Go to the left side of the fountain and you will find a chest on the ground. Open it to find Fountain Gate Key and then use it on the gate to your right.
Inside, go up to the first platform above you. Turn around and hit the beam. Hold the left trigger and climb up Indy’s whip a little, then jump towards the window.
You will find yourself on top of the scaffolding and can see the two dragons mentioned in the inscriptions. However, ignore them for now.

Instead, turn right and look down at the scaffolding. You will see an object below you. Go down to find it Dragon Claw. At this moment Gina will appear.

When Gina scared Indy, he broke several boards on the scaffold. You can now go upstairs from outside. Do this and go up to the first dragon statue – the one on the left side of the fountain.

From the front, take the Dragon Claw and insert it into the statue. Turn it and a handle will appear. Use the handle to rotate the entire statue until it is facing the other dragon statue on the far side.
Use the flagpole to move to the other dragon. Repeat the process – turn the claw and then use the handle to turn the statue – so that this dragon turns to face the other.

Jump back to the ground and jump into the fountain. Click on the handle of the dragon statue and pull it to open the secret door.
How to solve the baptism riddle

Once the fountain has completed its turn, a new handle will appear on the outside. Jump down and turn it with Gina.

This will bring to the fore a new puzzle on the topic of baptism.
To solve this problem, you need to get the water on the right side to hit the statue on the left. Steps:
- Move left statue (baptist?) right
- Whip pull the ring pour water
- Move right statue (baptist?) to left
When you move the right statue, it will turn and pour out water.
Once the puzzle is solved, the handle will reappear outside the fountain. Jump down and turn it again.
How to solve the Ark of Reeds puzzle
Another puzzle is about a boat – the Ark of Reeds – and you have to turn some rings to clear the way for the boat.

The tricky part is that there are wooden blocks that will slide and lock the rings together. To resolve this issue:
- Rotate the farthest ring three times counterclockwise (Left)
- Rotate the middle ring once clockwise (Right)
- Rotate the innermost ring twice in any direction.

Once the puzzle is back at the starting point, all that’s left is to push the remaining statue straight forward. When it locks, a staircase will appear leading to the Underworld.
