If you’re a fan of Rebellion’s popular WWII shooting simulation series, then you’ll be pleased to know that Sniper Elite 4, one of the latest games in the series, is now available for pre-order on iPhone and iPad! If you’re lucky enough to own an iPhone 16, 15 or iPad with an M1 chip or later, you might want to save some of that Christmas cash as it’s scheduled to release on January 25th.

For those who don’t know, the Sniper Elite series puts you in the shoes of elite sniper Karl Fairbairn. Whether it’s assassinating Nazi leadership, sabotaging secret projects, or disrupting enemy operations, you’ll be able to use a variety of weapons, gadgets, and sniper rifles (not to mention the famous X-ray kill camera) to complete your mission.

In Sniper Elite 4, you’ll travel to Italy as Fairbairn takes on yet another Nazi superweapon project. Massive open levels and missions are made possible thanks to impressive optimizations such as MetalFX Upscaling. You’ll also be able to use cross-progression and universal purchase to play Sniper Elite 4 on your iPhone and iPad. or Poppy.

Hit or miss?

Bringing Sniper Elite 4 to mobile devices is undoubtedly ambitious, as although the game is several years old, it is still impressive both graphically and technically. Those lush Italian waves, olive trees and splattered Nazi brains aren’t quite Candy Crush-level after all, but if Rebellion can pull it off, it could be a new era in shooting fun.
