Balatro adds 8 franchises and even more crazy mayhem with Friends of Jimbo 3 update

Balatro’s roguelike deckbuilding hit doubles down on organized chaos with the release of Friends of Jimbo 3, a free update that adds even more surprise guests in the form of new card art. Jimbo is already pretty upset, so adding eight more franchises into the mix will only add to the insane chaos here.

In Balatro’s latest update, you can expect to see some familiar (card) faces as the third and biggest collaboration comes out. Playstack and LocalThunk seem to know exactly what they’re doing, considering they’ve released this new update just in time for The Game Awards, where Balatro proudly boasts a whopping five nominations. By the way, this also includes “Game of the Year”.

Either way, new additions include Divinity: Original Sin 2, Don’t Starve, Enter the Gungeon, Cult of the Lamb, 1000x Resist, Potion Craft, Shovel Knight, and Warframe. There are now 16 franchises in total, so customizing your deck has never been more fun.
