When launching in Early Access Path of Exile 2 has six classes. They range from traditional types with a twist, such as the Warrior, Melee Fighter, and Sorceress, to more experimental classes. For example, the Witch summons minions and has access to powerful debuff skills, while the Mercenary controls the battlefield with a variety of fast and powerful crossbow shots. Path of Exile 2The Monk’s take is unique among the class’s style iterations in video games, and even the Ranger is much more interesting than you’d expect from someone who just shoots a bow.
In short, everyone Path of Exile 2 There is some interesting stuff in the class, although some are easier to learn and use effectively than others. Our ranking of the classes from best to worst is:
- Mercenary – Early access to powerful combos and high potential for crowd control and quick defeat of bosses.
- Witch – Self-support skills, strong minions and excellent debuff abilities compensate for the slow start with their recruitment.
- Ranger – Exceptionally powerful elemental abilities, but few retreat options and no defensive skills.
- Monk – Boring skill set until level 5, when powerful combos finally appear.
- Warrior – Works great against bosses, but weak power and slow animation make it difficult to fight mobs.
- Sorceress – Strong elemental spells, but slow animation and lack of supporting skills make them vulnerable in single player.

Path of Exile 2The Mercenary is an exceptional class with high damage potential, early access to powerful combos, and a flexible playstyle that, despite some challenges, makes it relatively easy to pick up for both beginners and those familiar with the game. Path of Exile. The mercenary fires powerful crossbow bolts and quickly gains access to a number of much more interesting and useful skills.
They can launch fire grenades, freeze and shatter enemies, reduce their resistance, and even fire a continuous stream of arrows to take down the toughest bosses (such as Jamanra, the Abomination). The best part is that a Mercenary doesn’t have to specialize in just one element. You can combine Charged Shots with Fire Grenades and Freeze Arrows and still end up with a viable build that will get you through the game.
The Mercenary may have a strong set of skills at his disposal, but it takes a lot of practice to get used to them. They burn through mana quickly and need a careful balance of special shots and basic attacks, and, more than with other classes, you also need to develop an attack and retreat pattern to avoid getting overwhelmed. The wide spread for some of the Mercenary’s special skills means you’ll have to be in close range for them to reliably hit, putting you at risk of being overwhelmed by mobs.
However, despite the variety of abilities that a Mercenary can learn, there’s a learning curve worth accepting.

The witch takes second place Path of Exile 2the best class in the world, held back only by some lackluster class dominance bonuses and a few balance quirks that make some of their skills less useful than others. The Witch is ostensibly a minion summoner, but they can also specialize as a debuffer and powerful caster. The Witch can resurrect minions from dead enemies, explode corpses, spread diseases, cast fire and frost spells (and lightning, although she is a bit weak in Path of Exile 2(Early Access) Pin enemies in place, power up minions, and drive them crazy – their lineup is exceptional, even before the dominance buffs arrive.
It’s also one of the easiest classes to learn as you can let minions distract enemies while targeting them from afar, meaning the Witch’s risk of failure is much lower.
The Witches’ big problems (besides the fact that the Blood Mage class was severely underpowered at launch) are how long it takes for their recruitment to become interesting, and how weak their minions are to begin with. Standard and summoned minions require several levels and a considerable amount of skill points to deal any decent level of damage and survivability. The Witch can make up for the damage gap, but the bigger issue is how quickly minions die at lower levels. They respawn after a short time, but the witch is vulnerable during this time, especially if there are no corpses to manipulate. These problems go away as you level up and gain access to skills like Bone Cage and additional summons, but the Witch takes longer to feel good than with other classes.
Pro tip: Don’t use your early raw gems on skeletons and minions. The witch needs a spirit to summon them, and you can only obtain the spirit in certain ways, none of which are available to you at the start of the game.

At first glance, the Ranger may seem like a less impressive version of the Mercenary, as it is a ranged class that fires elemental arrows. However, it is the best class for crowd control and can make short work of both large mobs and tough bosses. Rangers have a wide range of skills, from shooting poison that gradually erodes the enemy’s health – even better is the apparent lack of resistance to poison in most Path of Exile 2 enemies to more complex combos, such as when they stick a lightning bolt into the ground and can fire additional chain lightning bolts that ricochet off the stake and deal extra damage.
Rangers can also equip special quivers that enhance certain elements and add special effects, such as adding a piercing effect or igniting projectiles, and they are among the best in the game at inflicting status ailments.
The only drawback of the Ranger is the lack of defensive skills, and it is very significant. They equip weaker armor and rely on evasion skills to stay safe, but when enemies break through, they have few ways to stay safe. Carefully managing cooldowns and investing in skills like Grape Arrow, which slows down enemy movement, can mitigate some of these issues. However, if you over-correct and have more than one retreat ability, it reduces the amount of damage you deal.

If the phrase “better in 10 hours” had an image definition, it would be Path of Exile 2Monk. This is a fun class that has a very distinctive style and some great abilities, but you won’t notice it initially. The Monk’s ability set is slow and cumbersome until about level 5, when Path of Exile 2 finally begins to use unique skill effects that improve the monk’s performance. Some skills become more powerful if used several times in a row. Others give the Monk’s basic attack or other attacks additional effects, such as launching projectiles or, by consuming all of the Monk’s mana, turning their standard attack into an attack that causes electrical shockwaves.
Get to this point rudeAlthough. Path of Exile 2 favors ranged playstyles and fast casting spells, and not only does the Monk almost always have to be in close range until level five, but his attack animation is slow. They are vulnerable to taking damage before they can even deal it (an issue given the light armor they specialize in) and are easy to defeat.

Path of Exile 2The warrior started in a strange position. He excels as a defensive class and is the only character who can block enemy attacks. They are stunning. Their war cries provide powerful self-buffs and, depending on your choice of skills, can damage enemies. And they hit hard with two-handed weapons.
The problem is how comparatively weak and slow the Warrior is. His such slow class. Basic skills take longer to complete and deal less damage than other basic skills of other classes – for example, taking down a simple Drowned Man in the prologue takes multiple hits, where the Witch can defeat an enemy in two hits. Many of the Warrior’s basic attacks also have long animations. Most Path of Exile 2Enemies are quite mobile, so it’s easy to stray from your path and then miss your target completely, leaving yourself vulnerable as the mobs take advantage of your cooldown and swarm.
Where these annoyances are less of a problem is in boss battles. The Warrior’s self-buffs, enemy debuffs, and crushing attacks work particularly well in fights with large single targets, and the class is quickly gaining a well-deserved reputation as a Path of Exile 2 boss killer. However, even this feature comes with a caveat, as your build options are limited and most Warrior skills designed to work best with Titan dominance.

The sorceress is fine Path of Exile 2. Everything is fine! But nothing more. This is your standard set of magical skills, with access to the three core elements, some crowd control abilities, and eventually powerful buffs that increase your spell power. This is a strong class, but strangely balanced.
Self-buffing and combo abilities for Sorceress appear much later in the development of their class, while other classes, even Warrior, gain them almost immediately. For example, the Sorceress only has access to combo destruction at level five. The mercenary can do the same at first level.
However, the Sorceress’s biggest problem is her lack of defensive skills. They simply can’t escape anything, and the evasive playstyle will only get you far when stronger class skills take time to develop.
