Archero 2 is now available worldwide on iOS and Android

After a few quiet days in 2025, we’re finally getting back to seeing new releases! And today we have one that may have slipped under the radar despite its predecessor racking up over 50 million downloads! So if you’re a fan of Bullet Heaven and roguelikes, then get excited because Archero 2 is out to scratch that itch!

Like all good sequels, Archero 2 uses one of my favorite tropes: the previous hero is now captured by the Demon King. You will need to become a new archer and defeat both the previous champion and the Demon King himself.

Archero 2 boasts a faster pace than the original, as well as a whole new set of skills and abilities to choose from. This is on top of a whole host of new dungeons and battles to explore, such as the Seal Boss Battle, the Test Tower and the Golden Cave.

I live like Legolas

Unlike something like Vampire Survivor, Archero is more positioning-focused. While you can equip various automatic defenses to keep yourself safe, your primary weapon only fires when you’re not moving. Therefore, you will need to switch between locations during waves to maximize your chances of survival while acquiring new skills to increase your overall power.

While it may not match the high notes of the aforementioned Vampire Survivors, you could do a lot worse than something like Archero. And this sequel looks to be upping the ante and the action with new skill combinations and stronger threats to deal with.
