What’s so dark about Alice in Wonderland? You’ll never see anyone present a dark fantasy version of The Hobbit where Bilbo is arrested for tax evasion. Either way, Lewis Carroll’s humble book of fairy tales has inspired many dark and gritty adaptations, the latest being Plarium’s mobile ARPG Raid: Shadow Legends.
Starting today through March 8th, you’ll be able to recruit five new champions based on iconic characters from this classic literature. Alice the Wanderer, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts and the Knave of Hearts join the battle.
This story, because it is more than just an original fairy tale, follows Alice’s journey from the world of Teleria to a fantasy realm where she is drawn to a white rabbit. Joining forces with the Knave of Hearts and the Cheshire Cat, she will have to overthrow the forces of the Queen of Hearts and her husband the Mad Hatter.

As you might expect, the star of the event, Alice the Wanderer, will debut as a free character as part of the 14-day loyalty program. Log in during this period and receive free rewards, and Alice will become available on the seventh day! To get all these goodies, of course, you’ll have to start the loyalty program before March 26th.
Meanwhile, the Mad Hatter will be available in both the Guaranteed Champion event for new players and the Mixed Fusion event for existing players until January 23rd. completing in-game quests and tournaments to obtain the necessary materials.
Raid: Shadow Legends has definitely never had a shortage of wacky ideas, but I think “Alice in Wonderland turned goth Doom Slayer” might be the wackiest of them all.
