Pink ribbon eels don’t necessarily appear in fishing spots, but there is an indicator to tell you when they appear. Watch the fish blow pink bubbles at any of the fishing spots between Leisurely Anglers and Swan’s Gazebo, as pink ribbon eels are the only fish that blow pink bubbles.

To catch pink ribbon eel, point your fishing rod towards the pink bubble-blowing fish and catch them like any other fish!

Keep in mind Rosacea ribbon eels take one real day to reviveso if you’ve already caught a few and don’t notice any more pink bubbles, you may have to wait until the next day. Luckily, more rosacea will appear as the event progresses, so be patient! The event ends at Thursday, January 23so be sure to get all your surprise gifts before then.

Some fishing spots are a little more difficult to get to than others. To get to the circled locations, you need to jump on the lily pad near the northern area and talk to the Crocker Boatman. They will take their lily pad boat to the middle of the lake and show you two fishing spots.
