Apple Arcade looks to be picking up the pace this January with the release of Trials of Mana+, allowing fans of the classic Mana series to get their hands on the iOS RPG. As you’d expect, you’ll embark on a journey to save the world with your merry band of fellow partygoers, choosing from three of six main characters whose stories will overlap depending on which heroes you choose.
Trials of Mana+ features beautiful 3D graphics that evoke nostalgia as it feels like you’ll be able to see regular scenes but with updated graphics. Combat is a fast-paced experience with signature ring menus that fans of the franchise will find very familiar, with over 300 types of abilities to experiment with when it comes to your character’s composition.
Beginner, Easy, Normal and Hard difficulty settings are at your disposal to keep you in control, and there’s also old school New Game Plus – something we touched on in our last podcast episode. – to unlock more storylines. for your heroes.
All this is accompanied by enhanced quality of life improvements on mobile devices, including automatic targeting, automatic camera and cloud saving.
