Delta Force Unveils 2025 Roadmap and Content Ahead of Mobile Release
- Delta Force is getting closer to its expected release date for the mobile version later this year.
- Developer Level Infinite also revealed its future content plan.
- Find out what’s going on in this free tactical shooter!
While some may have been disappointed by the revival of cult tactical shooter Delta Force as a free-to-play online game, many others have welcomed it warmly. And ahead of Delta Force’s anticipated mobile release later this year, developer Level Infinite has laid out its expected roadmap for 2025.
As you’d expect, this year’s Season 1 roadmap consists of mostly new content in addition to what we already have. This means new operators, attachments, weapons, attachments and gadgets to play with, as well as the addition of new Warfare mode maps.
However, it’s Season 2 where things start to get interesting, as nightly versions of existing maps will be added, as well as many more additions like the ones above. A new Season Pass and Battle Map will arrive in Season 3, and Season 4 will add another new Battle Map and even more content.
More about mobile devices?
Delta Force is slated to release with cross-progression between mobile and PC, so I’d say there’s a lot of hope that any content already released on desktop will also be available on mobile at launch. Otherwise, this looks like a pretty extensive roadmap for future content.
I think one of the most powerful modes is war, which seems to fit into the niche left by the relatively loose Battlefield series, which has huge potential for mobile. Although how well your device can handle a massive multiplayer battle filled with weapons and environmental destruction is up to you, I suppose.
In any case, since the release is scheduled for the end of April, there is still some time to wait until the release of Delta Force. Why not enjoy some of the other best releases on offer by digging through our list of the best shooters for iOS?
