Haegin brings Play Together to PC with Steam release

  • Haegin is bringing its popular social gaming platform Play Together to Steam
  • Now you can enjoy it on both your mobile device and PC with cross-play between the two.
  • Why is this happening now? I have a few guesses

While browsing the news today, we noticed that our old friends at Haegin have made the interesting decision to move their social gaming platform, Play Together, to Steam. Available now, bundled with the mobile version, what’s the reason? I have a few guesses.

For those unfamiliar, Play Together allows you to create your own avatar and explore the world of Kaya Island. You can interact with other people, play mini-games, and even decorate the player’s own home. It’s been available on mobile devices for quite some time now, but the PC release could be an attempt to go a little further.

If I had to hazard a guess, I’d say this is where we need to try to attract more players. “Play Together” is, of course, very similar to many social game entries on Roblox. However, Let’s Play Together has so far only reached the mobile audience, while the desktop audience previously remained untapped.

Stay together

Despite over 200 million downloads, while Play Together usually presents itself to us with an abundance of in-game events and additions, it’s definitely fair to say that it’s otherwise quite popular. With account linking rewards and events to celebrate, Haegin appears to be aiming to attract a wider audience on Steam, although I’m guessing it won’t reach anywhere near the heights it has on mobile.

But this is not necessarily the case because, as we always say, one of the main reasons why mobile devices are moving to desktop computers. need cross-play is meant to appeal to those of us who play both. So will being on the computer encourage people to play longer? We’ll have to wait and see.

However, there is still a lot to consider. If you’re taking a break from Playing Together, why not get early information on upcoming launches with our regular Ahead of the Game feature?
