Nintendo Switch 2 trailer confirms Joy-Con mouse functionality
Guys, it’s here. After what seems like days and days (and yeaaaays) of page refreshes and thumbs turning, Nintendo has finally lifted the lid, perhaps not entirely, but somewhat on its long-awaited Switch successor.
Today’s short Switch 2 trailer, to give it its proper title, is clearly designed to simply whet the appetite during this time. Nintendo announced a Direct in April, when we can expect more details about the console and maybe even what games we might see (in addition to today’s confirmation, a new Mario Kart game is on the way).
But while this trailer is brief, it has seemingly confirmed that the Joy-Cons Switch 2 will have the same mouse functionality that was previously rumored. At one point in the trailer, two Joy-Cons can be seen being pushed across a flat surface by an invisible force, their wrist straps stretched out behind them like little mouse tails. Meanwhile, there appears to be some kind of contraption that gives the side of the Joy-Con a smooth edge.
What do you think of this potential change to Joy Con functionality?
