Games Done Quick reveals the full schedule of charity speedruns at this year’s Frost Fatales event
With Awesome Games Done Quick (and the impressive Elden Ring saxophone attacks) officially over this year, preparations are well underway for the charity speedrunning Games Done Quick’s Frost Fatales – and organizers have now revealed its full schedule ahead of March.
Frost Fatales, if you’re unfamiliar, is the annual winter version of Games Done Quick’s charity speedrunning event for women and women (Flame Fatales is its hotter summer equivalent), and this year’s week-long show runs from March 9-16.
In particular, everything will begin at 17:00 Moscow time on Sunday, March 9, with the Cuphead Any% No Major Glitches speedrun from Vicky_spleen. Seven days and over 60 speedruns later, it all culminates with Sawa Yoshi’s one-handed Celeste Any% speedrun at 3:23 am on March 16th. And in between all of this, there’s an incredibly diverse selection of other games to look forward to, from good old blockbusters and retro classics to indie favorites and left-field oddities.
A quick look at the recently released schedule shows games like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Cult of the Lamb, DuckTales: Remastered, RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, Clock Tower 3, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue, for example. Rescue Team, Hylics and more, plus Final Fantasy X-2’s three-way “girl squad” race featuring all female characters.
Frost Fatales 2025 once raised money for the National Women’s Law Center, a US nonprofit that fights for women’s and LGBTQ rights through initiatives that change laws, policies and culture. And if all this intrigues you, you can watch the event live on Twitch.
