How to Ascend in Path of Exile 2
Ascension Classes act as subclasses in Path of Exile 2. They provide you with another, and thankfully smaller, skill tree that allows you to gain even more powerful abilities. How difficult is it Path of Exile 2 maybe climbing is mandatory.
If you break through Path of Exile 2 and without completing any side quests, it’s easy to miss the initial ascension quest. Here how to get up to Path of Exile 2and also how to get more Ascension points.
How to Ascend in Path of Exile 2
To advance to Ascension class in Path of Exile 2you will need to do Sekemas trial V Act 2which is unlocked after defeating Balbala, the Traitor in Traitor’s Passage in Act II. Be sure to take Coin of Barya Balbala for this is your key to enter the test.
To complete the Trial of Sekemas, you need to complete seven trials and fight the boss in the final room.
Some challenges will have their own conditions that will either hamper your character with penalties or add debuffs to make the challenge even more difficult. Additionally, you will have a life total that spreads across the entire gauntlet, called honorwhich appears at the bottom of the screen. With each blow you receive during the test, your honor will decrease. Once it reaches zero, you will fail the challenge and have to start over, so remember that!
Once you complete the Trial of Sekemas, interact with Altar of Ascents to select your Ascension class and receive two Ascension points.
How to get more Ascension points in Path of Exile 2
To get a second pair of Ascension points, Path of Exile 2you need to complete Trial of Chaos in the Temple of Chaos in Act Threewhich is unlocked after defeating Xyclucian, the Chimera, in the Chimeral Swamps in Act 3. Be sure to pick up chimerical written ultimatum thrown by the boss as it is your key to the challenge.
The Challenge of Chaos works similarly to the Trial of Sekemas in that it is a series of challenges that you must complete, but instead of choosing between rooms to enter, you must choose a negative modifier that will apply to each subsequent room. After you complete three challenges and defeat the boss, you will receive rewards and two Ascension points.
As for the next pair of Ascendancy Points, it is expected that they will be obtained from the Trial of Sekemas and the Trial of Chaos in severe difficultyor Coin of Jinn Barya or Coin with the inscription “Ultimatum”which are variants of trial keys. The Jinn Barya coin must have markings three testswhile Coin with the inscription “Ultimatum” marked with a sign seven trials. However, as of this writing (December 10), these methods appear to be buggy as players are having trouble getting more points.
