Everstone Studio has just announced that the debut of their martial arts-inspired adventure Where the Winds Meet is just around the corner. A PC release in China is scheduled for later this month, with iOS and Android versions coming next year. Prepare to be immersed in this open world set in the dying days of the Ten Kingdoms.

Where the Winds Meet is set in a time when dynasties rose and fell in the blink of an eye. Particular attention is paid to the end of the Southern Tang Dynasty, an era steeped in political unrest and poetic tragedy. You step into the shoes of a swordsman born in these turbulent times, and you must make decisions that intertwine with the fate of the dynasty.

The adventure is a complex blend of martial arts and open-ended storytelling. You’ll master Wuxia-inspired techniques such as wall walking, water running, and Tai Chi counterattacks, allowing you to develop a fighting style that suits your approach. The hero you choose can be anyone – a doctor saving lives, a merchant doing business, or even an NPC roaming the city of Kaifeng.

No matter who you choose, you will be involved in different types of combat. Whether you use Acupuncture to gain an advantage or use Lion’s Roar to turn the tide of battle, the decisions are yours. You are not bound by anything and have great freedom to create your own fighting style and write your own fighting legend.
