Mobile game

A Little Journey takes you on a soothing night journey to deliver a mysterious package.

  • A Tiny Wander is a new 3D adventure game from Doukutsu Penguin Club.
  • It will appear on PC and tentatively on mobile devices in 2025.
  • You play as the anthropomorphic pig Buu, who is trying to deliver a package through the Forest of No Return.

We’ve all had one terrible job that we resented, but it was strangely comforting. For some, it may be working at night in a store, a place where time seems to slow down and everything becomes liminal. But what could be more relaxing (and weirder) than being a walking pig at a package delivery job? Well, that’s exactly what A Tiny Wander is trying to answer.

A Tiny Wander takes you on a journey through the night as an anthropomorphic pig named Boo (no relation to the DBZ villain) who is trying to deliver a mysterious package. The only problem? To do this, he will have to cross the Forest of No Return, gulp.

On Buu’s journey, he explores the forest, interacts with other travelers and passers-by, sets up camp, breaks from time to time to offer drinks to others, and in between tries not only to deliver his package, but also to find out who the mysterious owner of the Moon Mansion is.

Walk in the woods

To say that A Tiny Wander has a slightly strange concept is something of an understatement. But at the same time, if you’re expecting something like a Doki Doki-style game, you’ll be glad to know that this isn’t horror in disguise. Instead, developer Doukutsu Penguin Club seems intent on delivering a calming, exploration-focused experience.

What about the platform? We know A Tiny Wander will release on Steam in 2025, but a mobile release is more tentative right now. Hopefully we’ll find out for sure if that happens because I think we could all use some relaxation after Christmas.
