Nintendo Alarmo now has a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe theme, so you can wake up in Rainbow Road
Nintendo’s alarm clock now has a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe theme in a free update.
When Nintendo announced the device, it said that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons themes would soon be available once you linked your Nintendo account.
Mario Kart is now available, although there is no news on the Animal Crossing theme yet.

A Nintendo Account is required to download, as is the purchase of Alarmo. It is currently not sold in Europe and America and is only available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
In Japan, subscribers must enter a lottery for a chance to make a purchase. However, this has recently been changed to a pre-order option, with delivery not expected until early February 2025.
A wider launch was planned for mid-February next year, but was delayed due to stock shortages.

The Mario Kart theme contains a number of new alarms from popular tracks:
- Mario Kart Stadium
- Twisted Mansion
- Dolphin Banks
- Electrodrome
- Cruise on top of a cloud
- Bowser’s Castle
- Rainbow Road
