Monument Valley 3 hits Netflix with a new wave of mind-bending puzzles

The wait is finally over as Ustwo Games has just announced the release of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Monument Valley 3 on the Netflix gaming platform. The series has been churning out amazing games for over a decade now, and now you can finally enjoy a brand new version that follows Noor’s journey to save her village from darkness.

If you’re new to this puzzle game, don’t worry: Monument Valley 3 is a standalone game and doesn’t require you to have played the previous games. You play as Noor, the keeper of light, who discovers that the light in her world is dimming, causing the water level to rise. She must quickly find a new source of light for her city, otherwise everything will be lost in the waves.

This is where a new mechanic comes in – sailing. You will explore a mysterious new world on your boat in hopes of finding the Sacred Light. From mind-bending puzzles to logic-defying locations, there’s so much to discover. You will have to manipulate your environment to unlock hidden paths and move forward.

The core gameplay remains the same and there’s no real need to add a ton of new stuff. You’ll still explore this minimalistic world full of stunning architecture and stunning geometry. Of course, there will be some fresh touches added, such as now being able to return to your home village whenever you want and interact with the characters you saved on your journey.

Since Monument Valley 3 is now available on Netflix, you’ll need an active subscription to play. Considering the many options available, this isn’t such a bad deal.
