The Trial of Sekemas is a challenge where you must complete seven challenges in a row just to fight Rattlecage, the Earthbreaker in the eighth and final room. The Trial of Sekemas is at level 22.so the monsters you encounter will be of the same level. However, you can take on this challenge at any time, so you can be extremely overwhelmed and overwhelmed if you want to make it easier.

There are a few things you should know before you start your trial:

  • Relics – After you talk to Balbala, she will give you a relic, an item that will make your time in the trial a little easier by giving you a buff. Place the relic in the Altar of Relics after inserting the Barya Balbala coin. These relics can give you a variety of buffs, such as increasing your overall honor, maximum life, or the total amount of holy water you get from fountains.
  • Honor – Honor acts as a unique amount of life that is used throughout the trial. Every time you take a hit or damage, you lose honor depending on how much damage was taken. If your honor reaches zero, you will fail and have to start over. To prevent your honor from dropping to zero, you need to choose a room that will reward you with honor.

  • Trial card – After you complete the first room and each subsequent room, you will be faced with a trial card. The trial card allows you to choose which challenge, reward, and modifier will be waiting for you in the next room. If you want to have the easiest time possible, avoid rooms that curse you. If you’re trying to get as many rewards as possible, try entering the rooms that give you keys.
  • Death – If you die or lose honor, your challenge will end, but you can still try again for free. Interact with Balbala and ask him to try again. However, this only applies to the Barya Balbala coin. If you use the Djinn Barya Coin, the challenge will end once you fail and you will not be allowed to re-enter.

To begin the Trial of Sekemas, you will need to place Barya Balbala’s coin in the altar along with any relics of your choice. Complete the quest in the first room to find a challenge card, which will allow you to choose one of five challenges:

  • Trial of the Chalice – Defeat all rare monsters to fill the cup and move on to the next room.
  • Escape from court – Disable all Death Crystals in the room. After you turn off the crystal, a line will shoot in the direction of the next crystal, so follow the line to easily move to the next room.
  • Glove Test – Find and interact with levers hidden around the room while avoiding traps and lurking enemies. After you interact with one lever, the gate will open and close, forcing you to find a new path to the exit, so watch out for open gates!
  • Hourglass Challenge —Activate the hourglass and survive until time runs out to succeed. If you kill a rare monster, the time will decrease, but your main goal here is to survive.
  • Ritual test – Close all portals by defeating the Lich Summoners on the sides of the portal. There are several variations of this room, where the portals can be grouped in the center of the room or scattered around the edges. Focus on the spellcasters, as enemies that appear from the portals will die instantly once the portals close.

If you are having difficulty with the Trial of Sekemas, the best advice I can give you regarding these challenges is to stick to the purpose of the challenge. Go towards your goal and avoid doing anything unnecessary that could tarnish your honor.

Rattlecage, Earthbreaker is a giant rock golem that emerges from a pile of rocks in the center of the room as you approach. Here are the moves to watch out for:

  • Rattlecage slams the ground, creating a huge shockwave around his fists. This attack has a somewhat slow completion animation, and Balbala will make a beep warning you to be careful, so make sure you hear it!
  • The rattlecage falls to the ground, creating mini-volcanoes and cracks in the ground. Don’t stand near volcanoes as they spew rocks that will ruin your honor.
  • Pockets of wind will appear on the floor, indicating that a stalactite will fall in that area, so be sure to move away!

Ranged users can use the group of rocks that Rattlecage emerged from to evade their attacks for most of the fight. Melee users will have to pay close attention to Rattlecage’s animations and move Rattlecage away from volcanoes and landing zones to maintain a high honor level.
