HoYoverse is ending the year with a bang as Zenless Zone Zero releases a new trailer that proves the hype is very real. New Eridu in particular will see the introduction of Astra Yao into the urban fantasy RPG – how exactly is Random Play going to keep up with this iconic star?

If you’re unfamiliar, Zenless Zone Zero is the latest release from the HoYoverse host, and I honestly had a blast playing it when it first came out. The ultra-cool character designs and super-cute combat action are second to none – it’s no surprise that the game has already racked up 50 million downloads in the first three days of its launch in July alone.

But there was only one tiny thing that I didn’t like about all of this, and that was the boring and monotonous TV viewing experience. It looks like all of that is about to change, as the next version update, Storm of Shooting Stars, promises to update this mode starting December 18th, so it’s definitely worth sticking around for.

As for the new character, Astra Yao appears to be a new force to be reckoned with not only due to her commanding presence on stage, but also her combat prowess.

By the way, did you know that HoYoverse may be developing a possible life simulator right now? There was a confidential playtest and all that, but for now it’s all hush-hush. Quite intriguing though.
