SlidewayZ Puzzles gets a little frostier with a new winter wonderland update

Whether it’s archaic pop music, carols or something else, music and Christmas seem to go hand in hand. It’s no surprise that music puzzle game SlidewayZ is capitalizing on this with a winter update! Coming to us from Dig-It Games, the guys from Roterra, SlidewayZ is getting ready for winter.

If you haven’t heard of SlidewayZ before, I don’t blame you because this is the first time we’ve covered it. So, what’s the matter? Well, it’s very simple because the clue is in the name. SlidewayZ sees you move pieces on the playing field in cardinal directions, all with the goal of getting a specific piece to its final destination.

It’s a puzzle game all about collecting cute characters, so a Christmas update seems like a natural fit. This update brings three new character sets, including snowmen, elves, and dancing Santas to fill out holiday-themed puzzle sets.

Like Roterra, SlidewayZ is one of those releases that has a weird throwback vibe to it that I can’t quite put my finger on, but it reminds me of the old days of amazingly complex discounted computer puzzles. I’m surprised that SlidewayZ has appeared on our radar for the first time, but after taking a look at it, I can tell that this quirky little puzzle game is probably made for a specific niche.
