Marvel Rivals Winter Celebration Adds New Splatoon Mode Featuring Jeff

Marvel Rivals has gained a reputation as something of an Overwatch clone, but developer NetEase Games has an answer to that: Marvel Rivals is also Splatoon. Or at least it will be for a while, as a new limited-time mode called Jeff’s Winter Splatter Festival is coming soon. Marvel Rivals Next week, players will be able to experience what it’s like to play Nintendo’s colorful shooter series aimed at kids.

Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival is part of Marvel Rivalsthe upcoming Winter Celebration event, which begins on December 20th. In All the Jeffies for All Seasons, two teams of four will have to cover a winter map with their team’s, er, Joyful Splash, Jeff color. Instead of Inklings and Octolings, everyone will play as Jeff’s favorite Land Shark, shooting at each other and spraying festive saliva to take over territory.

Of course it is Marvel Rivalsso expect plenty of themed costumes, including an adorable winter coat and headphones for Jeff. Groot will also be able to dress up as a Christmas tree, while Magik and Rocket Raccoon will look ready to hit the slopes. Venom brings the perfect frosted cakes to your holiday party.

Marvel and NetEase Games are also promising a “special winter greeting card with gifts from Jeff” and “a few surprises” as part of Marvel RivalsIt’s a winter holiday, so tune in next week to see what digital gifts your favorite land shark has under Groot.
