Marvel Rivals Season 1, Fantastic Four Release Time in Your Time Zone

Season 1 from Marvel Rivalsofficially titled Eternal Night Falls, it adds four new characters to the game, as well as a new series of maps. These additions will be distributed over the course of a two-part season, which developer NetEase Games says will “double the game’s content compared to a regular season.”

In Season 1, you’ll be able to take to the streets of New York City as Marvel’s first family, the Fantastic Four. All four members – Mister Fantastic, The Invisible Woman, The Human Torch and The Thing – will debut in the first season, and the story will focus on Dracula’s invasion of the city, as well as the disappearance of Doctor Strange.

Release time for the first season of Marvel Rivals and Fantastic Four on PC, PS5 and Xbox

First half Marvel Rivals Season 1 kicks off at 4am EST on Friday, January 10th.adding two members of the Fantastic Four, two maps, and a new arcade game mode to the roster. Here’s when it’s in your time zone:

  • January 1st Pacific Time. 10 for the west coast of North America
  • 4am EST This is Ian. 10 for the east coast of North America
  • 9am GMT This is Ian. 10 for UK
  • 10:00 Central European Time This is Ian. 10 for Western Europe/Paris
  • 18:00 JST This is Ian. 10 for Tokyo

second half Marvel Rivals the first season will be released six to seven weeks lateron either Friday, February 21st or Friday, February 28th.

The launches will be global for PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X. NetEase Games has not yet announced an official end date for the first season, but it is expected to last about three months, that is, until April 2025.

What to expect from the first season of Marvel Rivals?

The first half of the first season introduces two new characters: Mister Fantastic (aka Reed Richards) and Invisible woman (aka Sue Storm).

Mister Fantastic is a duelist who uses his abilities to hit enemies from afar, knock their heads together, and deflect incoming attacks. The Invisible Woman is a strategist with the ability to place shields in front of her allies, turn invisible, and push enemies across the battlefield. It’s currently unclear whether the husband-and-wife duo from Marvel’s First Family will bring any new team-up abilities to the game.

First half Marvel Rivals Season 1 will also feature two of the game’s three maps based in New York City.

  • Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown is a new convoy map where you’ll have to escort the Fantastic Four’s favorite robot sidekick, HERBIE, from the Baxter Building to Avenger Tower.
  • Holy of Holies is the second new map that acts like an arcade map and contains a new Doom Match mode.

The start of Season 1 will also introduce all the usual seasonal additions, such as a minor rank reset and a Battle Pass that includes 10 Hero Outfits.

Second half Marvel Rivals Season 1 will be added Thing (aka Ben Grimm) and Human Torch (aka Johnny Storm) as new characters, bringing the total number of heroes in the game to 37. A third New York map will also be added, Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park.

NetEase Games said it will reveal more about the second half of the first season, including details on how Ben and Johnny will play, before the update releases at the end of February.
