Raw Fury has announced the upcoming release of Cassette Beasts on mobile devices – and yes, it’s coming sooner than you think. Despite previous delays, this bizarre mix of monster collecting and fusion elements will finally arrive on iOS and Android tomorrow – with just a few hours left before you can complete your collection of tapes that will somehow turn you into beasts just because.

For those of you younger who don’t know, cassette tapes used to be all the rage when it came to music, so combining the nostalgia of these retro icons with the classic Pokemon mechanics (and pixel art to boot) immediately appealed to me. Apparently, the same can be said for many other players who have received an “overwhelmingly positive” rating on Steam.
