- Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, no, seriously, that’s the title, now available on Android and iOS.

- Take out hostages, break through the bank and enjoy roguelike action.
Sometimes there are games that inspire you, and sometimes there are games that sadden you or even scare you. There’s also “Turnip Boy Robs a Bank” and it’s pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. So if you enjoyed the adventures of Turnip Boy and his tax evasion, you won’t want to miss him as he moves on to major theft!
As you’d expect from the previous installment in the series, Tax Avoidance Turnip Boy Commits is a top-down roguelike. Or in this case, run and gun while Turnip fights the Botanical Bank. Similar to something like Payday, you’ll need to manage and shake hostages as you move through the bank, improving each pass as you go.
And you will have something to fight with during the robbery. Just like Payday, you’ll have to fight against guards and guards, ranging from low-level cops to elite SWAT teams. Add in tons of other activities, returning characters, collectible cosmetics, and more, and you’ve got yourself a real trophy!
It’s payday
The Turnip Boy series could very well be one of those franchises that focuses solely on a silly title without much depth. But what I always find interesting is that developer Plug In Digital always seems to be trying to live up to the title rather than just making a hack ‘n’ slash roguelike with a funny name.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank also includes many additional features to enhance the game on mobile devices, be it the ability to play in 4:3 format or auto-aim for touch screens. You can get it now on iOS and Android for $5.99.
