Apple Arcade’s release of Game Room brings yet another addition to its already extensive catalogue. In this case, it differs from the usual set of classics with a completely new entry in the form of Word Wright. It’s available to play today via Game Room, so let’s see what Word Wright has in store!
This hidden word puzzle promises to solve 20-35 words per day in hand-crafted puzzles based on selected letters. It also supports six languages and allows you to challenge friends around the world. You’ll also receive three prompts per day, and (naturally) it supports both Vision Pro and other iOS devices.
Word Wright joins a host of other classic games in Game Room’s catalog, such as solitaire, checkers, and naval battle (hmm, sounds familiar). While this was mostly the flagship Vision Pro, the included support for other devices is a big boon if you’re not lucky enough to have one of Apple’s high-end headsets.
Vision defect
While there’s nothing wrong with Game Room, I think it’s fair to say that Apple’s Vision Pro wasn’t necessarily the seismic shift in AR that many of us expected. Indeed, although I was skeptical, even I was surprised to discover that Apple is ending production of the highly anticipated device.
However, it’s good to see that developer Solution Games is ahead of the curve in many ways. I have no doubt that the fact that Game Room supports a variety of iOS devices will ensure it thrives for years to come if fans stick with it.
